CATS CLAWS FAN CLUB WALK OF FAME DINNER

 

The Cats Claws Fan Club is hosted its annual Walk of Fame Banquet on Friday, June 3rd at Michaelangelo's Banquet Centre. This years inductee's were Joe Montford and Pete Neumann. Also honoured was Charlotte Simmons Humanitarian award winner, Ray Mariuz. The emcee for the event wasl Ti-Cat radio play-by-play announcer Rick Zamperin. Humerous speeches were provided by Mike Philbrick, Zeno Karz and Dennis McPhee.

On June 4th, Alumni were at Ivor Wynne stadium to help raise funds for Camp Maple Leaf. Participants walked 1040 yards for the fundraiser which will helped send underprivileged children to camp this summer.

Tiger-Cat Hall of Famer Garney Henley was among the 2011 inductees into the Hamilton Sports Hall of Fame. The dinner was held on September 26th at Carmen's Banquet Centre.
